The home screen of your iPhone is capable of holding many applications. However, while this is an excellent way to quickly access any app you might require, it also has the potential to clutter up your screen with icons.
You are fortunate in that Apple provides you with a variety of options for managing your home screen. Not only are you able to reorganize apps by placing them in folders and rearranging them, but you can also completely remove apps from the home screen. You won’t lose any of your previously saved information if you do this, and you’ll still have quick access to the apps by going to the screen for the app library. You also have the option to conceal apps from search results, giving you even more control over your personal information.
On an iPhone, there are a few different ways that individual apps or even entire app pages can be hidden.
How to hide applications from view on the home screen of your iPhone
There are two different methods available for removing apps from the home screen without actually having to uninstall them. You have the option of hiding individual apps one at a time, or concealing an entire page’s worth of applications all at once.
You can access the App Library, an organised list of all of the apps that are stored on your iPhone, by swiping all the way to the very last page of your home screen. Any app that you choose to conceal will be moved to the App Library. Launch the application from that location when you are ready to make use of it.
To hide just one iPhone application:
1. Locate the application you wish to conceal and keep your finger pressed down on it.
- When the list of available options appears, select Remove App from the menu.
- Select the option to remove the icon from the home screen.
However, you will still be able to view it in the App Library even though the icon has been removed from the home screen.
Find the app you want to unhide in the App Library, press and hold your finger on it, and then select the Add to Home Screen option from the menu that appears.
- Place your finger on the dots at the bottom of your home screen, which indicate which page you are on, and press and hold it there. This will allow you to hide an entire page of apps.
- Continue holding it until the iPhone zooms out to display all of the pages at the same time. Simply lift your finger off the dots and tap them once more if all the apps begin to jiggle but the screen does not begin to zoom out.
- Navigate to the page of apps that you want to conceal, and then tap the checkmark that is located underneath it to remove the check.
- Select Complete in the upper-right corner of the screen.
When you swipe again, the pages that you previously unchecked will no longer be visible to you. However, hiding multiple apps has the same effect as hiding a single app; the App Library will still display all the apps that you have hidden.
Simply open up this menu once more and check off the page once more to bring it back into view.

How to hide applications so that they do not appear in search results
You can find hidden apps in addition to the App Library by dragging your finger down on the home screen and then searching for them. And despite the fact that this is helpful for locating apps that have been hidden, it may also be another privacy concern.
You are also able to prevent apps from appearing in the search results, which is a relief.
- Launch the Settings app, then scroll down until you find the Siri & Search option and tap it.
- In the new menu that has opened, scroll down until you find the application that you want to conceal from search, and then select it.
- To turn off the Show App in Search toggle, tap it so that it turns grey, and then tap it again to turn it back on.
An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment. I do think that you need to publish more about this subject matter, it might not be a taboo subject but usually people do not speak about such topics. To the next! Cheers!!
